The Edge browser is even worse. The right click and context menu and other UI "improvements" drive me crazy. I imagine an average joe suffers for long hours until all the shenanigans could be disabled to get a hassle free browsing experience.
Didn't do it for me while in Europe. I thought it might behave differently if I pretend to be from the US using a VPN etc. Nope. Searched "Google" both times, didn't happen either time.
Then I tried putting "google" into the address bar of Microsoft Edge. There it is! And appears to happen regardless of your locale/IP.

It was doing it for me yesterday from Europe on the normal bing homepage, but no longer does so.
Impossible, HN has assured me that Microsoft has changed.
